How do I apply?
It’s easy! Simply click here, select a floorplan and “Apply”
I am a student, do I need a co-signer?
Most students do apply with a co-signer but if you don’t have one, you may apply on your own. We will run a credit check and verify your rental history (if applicable). Note: If applying with a cosigner, only the cosigner’s credit is checked, not yours.
How does my co-signer apply?
Begin your online application and on Step 4 (Additional Persons), enter your cosigner’s name and email address. An email will be sent to them asking them to complete their part of the application. Then, continue completing your application. We’ll get notified automatically once your cosigner has completed their part.
What if I am not a student?
No problem! You are welcome to fill out an online application. We will run a credit check and verify your rental history.
When do I sign my lease?
Once your application is approved, we will email your lease to you and you can sign electronically.
How do I get placed with my chosen roommates?
The application asks for your roommate’s information. Once we have this info, the applications will be placed together.
When can I move in?
Our available move-in dates occur from May through August. We will be in touch to confirm your exact move-in date.
Do you offer furnished apartments?
We offer both furnished and unfurnished apartments. Click here , select your floorplan and enlarge the image to see if furnished is available. Please note: 4BR homes are ALL furnished.
Furnished homes include the following items:
Couch, two end tables, coffee table, accent chair and TV stand
Full bed frame, full mattress, dresser w/ four drawers, desk, desk chair and night stand
Dining table and 4 dining chairs
*Please note: 1BR Furnished Homes do not include dining room items.
Is Squire Hill pet friendly?
Yes! We love our furry friends. Our community has a Dog Park and numerous grassy areas for your pet. For more information about our pet policies, click here.
What is included in my monthly rent?
Your rent includes cable, internet, and trash removal.
Electricity must be set up through Harrisonburg Electric Commission. JMU students can use UDAP (University Deposit Assistance Program) which allows electricity to be set up without a deposit. We handle the billing for water usage so you do not need to set this service up. Each month, we will email you a monthly water statement which can be paid with your rent.
